This is a great gift to make during the holidays. I find a pretty bottle with a good stopper to seal it and design my own label.
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/4 c. dark brown sugar
3/4 c. very hot water
1/2 c. corn syrup
1 1/2 c. 80-proof vodka
1 TB. almond extract
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Directions:
Combine hot water with the sugars in a medium glass pitcher or bowl. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
Add corn cyrup and stir well.
Add vodka and flavorings and stir.
Store in a sealed container.
