Create your own labels online!

I have had the link to an online label website for some time now, but wanted to shine the spotlight on it for the holidays.  I first came across it last year, when I was looking to make some customized canning labels for my mom's Christmas present.  She makes homemade pickles, salsas and makes the occasional baked goods.  I needed them to be more durable than the typical labels you can buy from Office Depot and print at home.  I also wanted vibrant colors and a more professional look.  Here is what I designed for her using this website http://www.canningpantry.com/custom-canning-labels.html

If you look closely at the picture, you can see how easy it is to customize it.  You can change the wording, the colors, shape, size and style.

I also made Mom some personalized labels for her homemade pickles.

So I thought this would be a great post for Holiday gift ideas.  This year, I am making homemade Bailey's Irish Cream to give to my White Elephant Gift Exchange guests as a party favor.  Here is the label that I made last night:

The prices are very reasonable.  Check out the picture right above and you can see that the label I created starts at $1.17 each.  I ordered 12 of the labels above and paid $14.00.  I will be presenting the Homemade Irish Cream in a glass bottle from Crate and Barrel Outlet (also available online).

Here is the (semi) finished bottle filled with homemade Bailey's Irish Cream and with the label that I created online.  Just need some cute ribbon to dress it up a bit, and it is ready to go!

And my most recent creation was some beer labels and coasters for my brother's home brew!
